The service
ReadyCrate rents reusable moving totes, dollies, and related supplies, delivered and picked up within our Johnson County service area. Renting from us means you agree to these terms.
Rental period
The standard rental is 14 days from delivery. Extensions are available for a flat fee per package size; request an extension before your scheduled pickup day and we’ll add it to the card on file and reschedule pickup.
Payment
Payment is by credit or debit card through Stripe. We keep a card on file for the rental and for any extension, damage, or missing-tote charges, all of which are stated up front.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your delivery window. Within 48 hours, a $50 cancellation fee applies. Move dates may be rescheduled without a fee with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Care, damage, and missing totes
Totes are counted at delivery and at pickup. If a tote is missing or damaged beyond reuse, a $30 replacement fee per tote is charged to the card on file. We email first with the specific tote number and a 48-hour grace period to find it. (A formal limitation-of-liability and contents clause will be added on legal review.)
Delivery and access
Default delivery and pickup is to the garage, porch, or driveway. Someone 18 or older must be present at the first delivery to confirm count and condition. You’re responsible for safe, clear access at both addresses.
