How it works
From quote to clean garage in five steps.
ReadyCrate replaces the worst part of moving — sourcing, building, and disposing of cardboard — with a clean end-to-end service. Here’s exactly how it works.
The process
Five easy steps
You request a quote
Tell us your move dates, ZIP codes, and home size. Takes about a minute. We’ll come back with a confirmed package, your delivery window, and a payment link — usually the same day.
We deliver totes to your home
On the day of your delivery window, we drop off stacked, numbered, sanitized totes plus dollies and labels. Default delivery is to your garage, porch, or driveway — we don’t need to come inside unless you want us to.
You pack and move
Standard rental is 14 days. Need an extra week? Add one for a flat fee — just let us know. The totes stack cleanly, the lids attach, and movers love them because they don’t collapse the way cardboard does.
We pick up when you’re done
On your scheduled pickup day, leave the empty totes stacked by the door of your new place. We come in our window, count them in, and leave you with a clean garage.
Sanitized and ready for the next customer
Every tote is inspected, cleaned, and sanitized between rentals. The same totes serve dozens of moves over their lifetime — which is why this is also the lower-waste option.

FAQ
A few quick questions
Use our home-size guide on the booking form, or just request a quote and we’ll recommend the right package. If you’re between packages, we usually suggest sizing up — running out of bins mid-pack is one of the more frustrating ways to lose a Saturday.
Default delivery is to the garage, porch, or driveway. We can bring totes inside if access is clear, but most customers prefer the at-the-door drop-off.
Just text or email before your pickup day. We add the extension fee to the card on file and reschedule pickup.
